Uma Thurman and versatility

Uma Thurman was born in the city of Boston (MA) in 1970. Her father was the first Westerner to be honored as a Buddhist Monk. Needless to say he made it a point to bring up all his offspring’s in this faith. As a child, Uma Thurman spent quite a while in Almora in northern India, where they were visited regularly by the Dalai Lama. In her career span Uma Thurman has featured in a score of movies; ranging from Romantic comedies to fiction.

The best amongst them; being pulp fiction. Uma’s sense of dressing says a lot at times of her eastern connection. She says that she believes in a supreme being and all are equal in the eyes of the higher power. Her philosophy is live and let live. She once remarked, “If you can’t do any good to a person, then you have no right to do any bad to the person also”. Well said Uma. Her name is pronounced as Ooma and not Yuma and it is of Eastern origin.
